The ski resort Meran 2000, which lies above 1600 meter above Meran, belongs to the Ortler Ski Arena and is one of the most popular ski resorts in all of South Tirol. This winter wonderland has 40 kilometres of alpine ski runs, which range from difficult to easy, and an a variety of lifts accessing the slopes (one cable car, one gondola 4 chair-lifts and one rope-tow).
